Believe it or not, these plants are considered the "weed" of New Zealand. Located on the size of a busy freeway, we stumbled upon this beautiful sight on our honeymoon. I was hypnotized by the sight of all these gorgeous flowers…flowers that were on the side of the road, not tended or cared for, but nonetheless thriving. We have this framed in our house as a happy memory of finding the understated beauty of the world. One man's weed is another man's glory.
